We are looking for energetic, fun, dynamic summer educators who can work with children between the ages of 5 to 14. You can work daytime hours, evening hours or a combination of both! We are looking for people who find joy working with children and youth, and can connect with kids to motivate them to find fun in learning. Experience working with children required. New grads and mature individuals are welcome! Specific skills such as CYW and ECE are considered assets, as well as experience working with children of all abilities. Duties may include math help, writing help and reading support. Training is provided. Our young summer clients come to our learning centre to catch up, reach ahead or just to keep their brains sharp. We have an amazing collaborative team environment, and our summer learning programs are relaxed with kids coming in once or twice weekly for an hour or two at a time. This is a very rewarding opportunity for the right person!
