Paladin Technologies is a premiere complex systems integrator that designs and deploys sophisticated systems technology in a client-focused approach. Operating in 25 offices across North America, Paladin is a leader in the design, deployment, optimization, management, and maintenance of integrated systems including Security, Audio-Visual, and Data Networking systems.

Due to continued business growth in 2023, we are looking to expand our Talent Acquisition Department! You will recruit for a variety of disciplines across North America and will source talent and provide value-added service by building a strong talent pipeline that increases our bench strength. As a brand ambassador, you will act to maximize employee engagement and development in areas of talent acquisition. You enjoy being creative and utilize a wide variety of sourcing methods beyond postings.

This role could be based in Denver, Edmonton, or Minneapolis.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle recruitment activitieswhich includes formulation and execution of our talent acquisition strategy, interviewing, providing education, advising hiring managers, understanding recruiting needs and job requirements, and conducting reference checks.
  • Develop and continuously improve the overall recruitment process, both internally and externally.
  • Source and manage candidate pools by identifying and approaching active and passive candidates through appropriate channels.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines through continuous sourcing and attending relevant industry conferences, professional group meetings, and other events to target top talent.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to include professional networking, direct sourcing, employee referral program, and social media to focus on a diverse pool of talent.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with candidates, employees and hiring managers to achieve recruitment goals.
  • Partner with department leaders to gain an understanding of the business drivers, objectives and regional challenges affecting talent acquisition.
  • Generate key hiring metrics and provide regular progress updates on search findings to management.
  • Facilitate follow-up meetings with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Participate in the development of the job evaluation process and work with managers to create job descriptions and postings.
  • Uphold confidentiality in the execution of the role.
  • Partner with the HR team to build and enhance our employer brand through the management of our Talent Community, Employee Value Proposition, and content creation.
  • Participates in HR related projects and/or performs other tasks as required that assist with the success of Paladin Technologies.
  • In collaboration with the HR team, support employee communication and messaging to ensure that employees are familiar with the organization's mission, goals, policies, and expectations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of progressive recruitment experience
  • Recruiting for technical roles in the construction industry is preferred with an emphasis being placed on; design, electrical, engineering, low voltage, controls, instrumentation, electrical systems and/or telecommunications.
  • Recruitment Agency consulting or corporate recruiting experience across a variety of positions is an asset.
  • Proven track record of successful sourcing and candidate generation with and in-depth knowledge of creative sourcing techniques to uncover passive candidates.
  • Strong experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) JazzHR and DocuSign processes.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent designation preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English an asset
