We are bringing a brand-new tea drinking concept to Montreal and we are looking for
fun and driven people to join our tea tender family. You will learn and experience our
unique tea bar approach to blending teas and making our specialty lattes!

blends is an art form and an experience for the senses. We meticulously select all of our
ingredients before making it to your cup, so that each blend is as bold, delicious and
fragrant as possible.
Responsibilities and Duties
Manage and oversee the entire tea bar operation
Assist with retail order fulfilment (You will get commission based on your retail sales)
Deliver superior guest services and ensuring guest satisfaction
Assist in planning and developing guest loyalty programs
Assist in planning new menu items
Participate at local food events
Respond to customer questions and complaints within Plentea culture codes
Organize and supervise shifts
Manage and lead a staff of tea tenders
Hire new tea tenders
Hitting sales targets for our retail teas
Training and evaluate staff performance
Inventory and supply management
Control costs and minimize waste
Nurture a positive working environment for your colleagues
Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales
Oversee food preparation.
To Ensure team members are cashed in and out in a timely manner
Take initiative to help team members during busy periods
The Ideal candidate:

Qualifications and Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with and motivate team
members.
Able to read, interpret and articulate instructions using clear and direct language.

Comfortable in a busy cafe
Experience in handling cash.
Bilingual - French and English
Have at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a café or restaurant
environment
Have a minimum of 1 year of experience catering special events and/or private
functions
Are able to effectively supervise front of house responsibilities
Have the ability to work gracefully and quickly under pressure
Have a working knowledge of food preparation
Have great personalities that naturally connect with a wide variety of people
Possess a keen memory and delightful sense of humor
Are able to quickly make calculations when handling money
Are highly organized and efficient
