Position Summary
The Sanitation Worker is responsible for ensuring the sanitization of equipment and facilities meet or exceed industry standards.
Key Accountabilities
Accountability: Washing (40-75% of time)
· Washing dishes and equipment by hand or using dishwasher
· Operating a pressure washer machine
· Complete all washing duties within established rate for the particular duty
· Other duties as may be assigned
Accountability: Sanitizing (40-75% of time)
· Sanitizing the equipment and building to industry and health standards
· Complete all sanitizing duties within an established rate for the particular duty
· Other duties as may be assigned
Accountability: Cleaning (15% of time)
· Cleaning, straightening and returning equipment in preparation for the next production cycle
· Emptying garbage and cardboard bins
· Recognizing and completing extra cleaning on an ongoing basis
· Complete all cleaning duties within an established rate for the particular duty
· Other duties as may be assigned

· Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure successful and efficient completion
· Work independently while following precise instructions and formulas
· Communicate clearly with co-workers
· Be an effective team player to achieve goals and contribute to a positive workplace
· Follow health and safety rules and practices
· Report worn or damaged equipment
Knowledge, Experience and Education
· Ability to take direction and follow precise instructions
· Experience working independently
· Experience with sanitization practices and principles is an asset
