Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A to join our Dealer Finance team. Reporting to the Director, Dealer Support FP&A, you will be responsible for developing our Power BI reporting and capabilities in addition to providing insights and actionable recommendations, as well as drive the forecasting and budgeting planning process.

This is a key role in providing information to our Finance and Retail Operations teams on Dealer performance and opportunities, while supporting with analysis, budgeting, and forecasting for Retail Operations teams.

What you’ll do:

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the company’s business, its operations and processes and contribute to the development and implementation of business plans.
• Monitor operational and financial performance models, highlighting trends and performing variance analysis.
• Collaborate with leaders, Finance team and related stakeholders, providing business insights to grow the business while understanding the opportunities and risks.
• Work cross-functionally to develop business cases and analyze key financial KPIs to determine initiative viability.
• Support annual financial planning process by working collaboratively with business leaders on the development of budgeting tools and variance analytics.
• Be the financial support leader for the Retail Operations team including budgeting, forecasting and evaluation of initiatives.
• Develop our data systems & reporting through Power BI and Excel in addition to handling large amounts of data constantly.
• Create a reporting package and cadence for HHSL Executive management.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, with a minimum three to five years of related experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, data analytics, and the development of statistical insights.
• Strong consumer insights and analytics exposure with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to build and create business reporting tools.
• Data-driven with the ability to analyze and review numbers and trends to support key business decisions.
• Highly developed business and financial acumen to drive business performance, embracing change and innovation.
• Strong financial knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and banking concepts.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (advanced Excel, PowerPoint) and advanced PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence decisions.
• Proven ability to interact and consult with key-senior decision makers. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to establish credibility with the Dealers and the Retail Operations Teams, to positively impact business performance.
• Ability to work additional varied hours as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
