Unique Minds Learning Company (www.uniqueminds.ca) has openings for math and science tutors and educators to work in our West Vancouver learning centre. These are permanent part time positions that could develop into full time. These positions will be of interest to English speaking job seekers with a background in tutoring or teaching, math or science.

Our educators work with students of all levels from kindergarten to university. Many students come to us to help them excel in academics and we also provide remedial help to students who require specialized learning assistance. Our staff work in a fast paced, collegial and creative environment. We offer first rate compensation and employee benefits, health and dental plans. We are currently seeking tutors to work weekdays after school and possibly on weekends. Candidates should be capable of teaching mathematics and sciences at all levels including pre-calculus, calculus, physics, chemistry or biology. The ability to tutor multiple subjects will be considered advantageous but is not a pre-requisite.

Applicants must possess a university degree and be able to work both individually and as part of a team. Employment with Unique Minds is open only to Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada. The ability to speak French or foreign languages, including Mandarin, will be considered an asset. Applicants will have to submit criminal record check prior to being employed. Please note that our location is not well served by public transportation and most of our staff drive to work.
